2Do I need reservations?
Yes, reservations are required. A reservation made in advance will secure your spot in daycare or boarding, which is important during our busy weekends and holidays. You can call us at (814) 418-9562 or use our online reservation form to request a reservation.
3Does my pet need to have certain vaccinations prior to boarding?
We require all dogs in our care to be fully vaccinated in accordance with state regulations. For dogs, please provide proof of current Rabies, DHLP and Bordetella vaccines.
Vaccination schedules vary depending on your veterinarian’s policies and procedures, please consult with them to ensure that your pet is current on each vaccine before their stay. Your veterinarian can either give you a copy of your pets records to bring at check-in or they can be faxed directly to us.
4Is Daycare available?
Yes! Daycare is safe and convenient was for you to encourage socialization and fitness, reduce stress and anxiety and keep your dog engaged and stimulated. 6What can I expect when my dog comes home from daycare?
A very tired and happy dog.
Your dog may be extremely thirsty, due to all the fun s/he was having with us. A lot of dogs, will not drink a lot while in daycare as they are too busy playing and having a wonderful time with their friends.
Some dogs may experience a loss of appetite due to fatigue.
7What is included in your Bone and Biscuit boarding?
At Lead Me On Dog Training, Daycare, Grooming, and Resort offers our canine guests an experience unlike any other. You will never see stainless steel kennel on our premises. We believe each of our guests deserves better. Therefore, each of our luxurious rooms were made to feel like home, with their premium bedding and large square footage. You also get our doggie daycare free when you board! “Subject the dog is suitable for daycare environment and must be tested prior to boarding”. All bed and biscuit rooms are 5ft long by 6ft wide.

8What if my pet is on medication?
We are more than happy to dispense oral and topical medications in your absence. Please bring the medications in their original packaging and we will administer them as directed. For our guests who require injections, we have a certified vet tech on staff that can administer the medication.
9Can I call to check on my pet?
Absolutely! We want to give you peace of mind that your pet is safe and comfortable while you’re away. We know how stressful it can be, being away from your best friend!
10What belongings should I bring for my pet?
Nothing! Unless you want too. As an all-inclusive resort we provide a comfy bed, toys, yummy healthy treats and all the love and attention your pet is use too.
11Do I need to bring my pets food?
Yes! We ask you to bring your own pets food as to not upset their sensitive tummies. In cases where your dog may run out of food, we do offer Annamaet dog food.
12Do you offer grooming or bathing?
We offer a full-service dog spa here at Lead Me On Dog Training, Daycare, Grooming, & Resort. When your dog lodges with us for 3 or more days we will give your pooch a complimentary bath, so they come home to you nice and clean.
13Can we tour the Facility?
Of course! We encourage all first-time guests to take a tour of our resort to see our state of the art facility.
14Can I bring my dog if s/he is sick?
No! If your dog has contracted any contagious disease, we require that s/he be off medications for 10 days and receive a clean bill of health from your veterinarian before returning to Lead Me On Dog Training, Daycare, grooming, resort.
If your dog exhibits any vomiting and/or diarrhea or just seems “off”, we ask that you keep your dog at home until symptoms have cleared.
15How do I book a service?
We currently accept reservations by phone, email, and through our website. If requesting a reservation via email or web site, please understand that your reservation is not considered booked until you have received a confirmation from us. If you have not heard from us within 24 hours of your request, please give us a call.
16How far in advanced should I reserve my dogs stay?
Our boarding typically books up on busy weekends, major holidays and throughout the summer, so we suggest to you book your boarding reservations at least three to four weeks in advance.
17What is your cancellation policy?
In general, Boarding reservations may be cancelled at any time without penalty with the exception of peak days and holidays (reservations requiring a deposit). These reservations must be cancelled 7 business days ahead of check-in date.
Training Services must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 48 hours prior to the appointment. Services cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice forfeit 50% deposit and a credit will not be applied. No shows forfeit the appointment and any funds paid.

January 1-3, May 27-30, July 1-5, September 2-6, November 19-27, December 18-31
19How do I pay you?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and cash. Established clients may also pay by check.
Stays up to two weeks must be paid in full at the time of pick-up. Stays over 2 weeks may be paid in bi-weekly installments with the first payment being made upon drop-off.
20Will my dog have access to fresh water?
ALL dogs have access to water 24/7 in the outdoor play yards and board N Biscuit guests have water in their individual rooms. When here for a day of play, some dogs, much like children on a playground, will drink very little because they’re too busy playing.
21What happens if my dog gets sick while staying with you?
If it is an emergency, we will take your dog to one of our vet’s. During regular business hours, we use Richland Veterinarian Hospital. After hours, we use Forest Hills Animal Hospital.
For more common issues, such as diarrhea, we will advise you of the situation, monitor and, if veterinary treatment is necessary, take your pup to your vet of record (if they are within 5 miles of facility) or one of our vet partners.
In all cases, we will always attempt to contact you or your emergency contact but the health and safety of the dogs are our top priority so we will act according to your instructions (which we note in your file) or if the situation is contagious or life-threatening, we will treat the dog accordingly.
